Yesterday was the penultimate day at Miri Marina, for competitors taking part in the Borneo International Yachting Challenge. Barring accidents there will be a new overall winner and the fight is on between Purpose Driven from Brunei who finished 2nd in IRC class by a matter of seconds and Eloise from France in class B who lost for the first time this year to another Brunei yacht ,again by a matter of seconds.
Api Sel from the UK remains unbeaten in IRC class A and New Zealand Yacht Lady Emma is heading for honours is IRC class C.
Two Multi hulls raced yesterday and Although Zosha from Australia crossed the line first she lost out on corrected time.
The Competition ends today with a final inshore race and Prize giving dinner.
